thes days, always been posting either abt my thots, life, or work... cos no time to think of wild stuff siazz... mostly when use pc, either for work or studies.. rarely got time for oneself..
so, it's abt work again..hehe.. ytday, was discussing soemthing wif my upperstudy.. knw wat, she lost to mi, but she wanna.. preserve her dignity, so she came up wif funny reasons to support her stand..
u see, in unix systems, when we copy files wif some param, the new file will always ahve the same info as the old 1, including modified date. my upperstudy say, after copying, append the date of modification to either file, so tat we can keep track of when the file was modified. but lately, i dun see the pt.
since, when we copy the file, even the mod date oso same, y do we need to append the date of mod? the file's mod date is already there. y still need to append it to the name of the file? might as well append the date of copying to the name.
upperstudy den argued "wat if someone modifies THAT file".. i hhahah.. at a loss of words.. but no pt arguing further.. since she is adamnant on her ideas..
den today, another thing.. i understand its her good-willed intentions.. but it was like.. very "i rule the app, i knw wat i'm doing" kinda style.. cos she modified a script tat will clear the system cache, but.. she din realise tat tis clearing of cache, affects debugging siazz..
umm... seems like, i'm gaining more n more knowledge wahhaha..
