biz interest vs personal dream
watching "The last dance" for the yandao kia of cos... :P the guy... the heir to the family biz.. is hot headed. he dun wan to sacrifice his interest to continue his dad's biz, n dun wanna marry a ger jus to support the biz... oh welll... i wonder if such scenarios do occur in real life.. now ie. well, it's realyl hard to find a balance.. when u have to sacrifice either ur love, or family biz.. sighzz...
first day @ work
on my first day at work, hehe, i actually met a couple new guys.. n a fwe gers.. the guys.. 1 is quite taking-care-of-new-ppl.. but he not yandao.. haizz.. den got a decently cute guy hahah.. his image is those decent n down-2-earth image wif short spiky hair.. taller than mi, but no bulky n flat front lol. den.. surprise.. i m taking over the desk of a guy who going another dept to work. tis guy, once i saw him, i knew he's AJ siazz.. cos' he's just so obvious when tokingt o mi!!
2nd day
first day, basically setting my things up n knowing the area better.. 2nd day, nothing to do.. lol.. jus sti there, surf net, n nothing much to do.. but hor.. sians.. i suppsoed to mit a frn (some time no see) for dinner.. but LAST min, since mornign, i been waiting for his confirmation sms.. but nothing. i sms him later, n he finally said he's not free to go.. anotehr frn got urgent thing so go wif him.. wat can i do leh.. i jus nodded.
but i was plannign to dine den get him to shop wif mi for office pants, cos he's got fashion sense. although he cant go, i die die muz stil lget my pants.. so i went loh.. wah... at the plc, i thot will b another "find some pants, buy n go off". din expect to meet a guy called Andrew who is quite competent n helpful in choosing pants. he impressed mi wif his knowledge n service atttiude.. n chatted a bit wif him.. he's 30, n working in construction site.
n he did ask if i got gf anot.. i say no, den he oso say "strange.. u r quite nice looking, no gf.. strange siazz." i replied "no lah.. i nvr think myself to b good looking"... but i dunno how come i dun wanna b frank wif him siazz..
n din expect to shop from 7+ to their closign time man.. n his attitude quite nice loh.. i find. i even filled up the feedback form, to compliment him. i wanna exchange contact wif him lei.. but he dun wish to.. n say, if i wan find him, can go back to shop.
3rd day @ work
originally.. wana blog abt a bday celebration.. but time pass liao.. i dunno wat i wanna blog abt tat.. shall jus say something else.
i recently added someone to my frn list, n tok in msn oso.. den tis boy (i tend to call ppl who muc younger than mi as boys siazz ahahah) he same fetish as mi.. exhibitionist. he is those ns age.. n i can guess.. he's still on the lookout for love.. those fantastic love wif fantastic guys... i told him, mi not nic looking, but my frn is better. n outta blue, he wanna bed mi siazz.. lol.. den my frn bday @ city area, so he went there find mi.. hehe... well, somehow i can tell tat i'm not the type he looking for, he kinda disappointed n dun wanna socialise more... cos rite after seeing mi, with a min, he say he need to go off liao..
unexpected length of bochapness
till now, tat gal pal of mine, stil ignore mi totally.. n i think i realise y... it's regarding the occupation thingy.. we now holding similar titles, but i may have gotten better benefits than her.. although i holding a dip of 6 yrs old n a 1 yo java cert. well, i did tell her wat she shld expect.. but tat time, she seem quite persistent on her idea n view of her stand.. alrite, so be it.. msg her 3 times in all over 1.5 mths. if she dun wan tok, i cant do anything.

Singlish
i was writng singlish as being abt "singlish is evolving to be a localised language..". but now, i dun rmb wat its abt..." ok.. somethign like... nowadays, it's so common to see singlish being used in everyday life. umm.. britons have their own slang to boot, hk'ers have their own words to use. even 闽南language (taiwanese dialect) is different from hokkien. cool... singapore is finally having its own personaised language to b proud abt.
However, being proud does not mean it's soemthing to show off to everyone. it's just a identity proof. being a multi-cultural, racial, n ethnicity (etc, u knw), it's not really easy to find a language tat belongs to SINGAPOREANS. we have all sorts of languages and dialects around in singapore. english is the common language.. or even the official language. but how abt 1 that tells ppl directly we are singaporeans? i heard a lady "chen mei... guang?" (someone who has quitted radio, n pursuing her own career) say tat "if tat person can speak chn, eng, mly, tml, he sure muz b singaporean." den i was thnking.. got ppl so power.. can converse well in all 4 langs 1 meh??? tat person muz b master/doc/prof of lang siazz"...
now, my view has changed. to show u r true blue singaporean, snglish is the way to go. but.. bear in mind, it's a slang'de language. to be used oni in casual tok. if any1 so clever, tok serious matter in singlish oso, den hahah.. jokes can erupt.. esp for students... singlish is our identity, but ENGLISH is still the proper language if u wanna survive at all...
colleting hp nos
wah, these days,, funny siazz.. i got a number of ppl.. who gave mi their contact numbers.. these ppl.. usually, when i jus got numbers, we plan to meet soon. but lose contact fast oso. den these days, i m more of collecting their nos, sms them, chit chat a bit via sms.. den when got a good chance den meet. tis seems a better way.. :)
dinner n dance
sianzz.. duno how to say things lah.. but dinner n dance suppsoed to b an enoyable party.. but i perceived in the wrong way.. n end up i felt so disgraced n paiseh. i ask my upper study wat to wear for DND. she say jus anythign will do. i even ask if shld wear office attire, she say no need, a party, so somethign simple will do.. n i did, thinking it's a casual dinner. n guessed it? it's a formal DND event!!! wif ppl appearing their best outfits!!!! n i??!?! appeared in Tshirt n casual pants.. those orchard street wear!!! i felt so outta plc!!!!!!! i din dare move much!! iwas not even myself, as i had to restrain a lot. dun wanna make myself so recognised.
den the dinner table, cos i registered last min, i had to sit wif other depts who i dunno at all. i fidn it better siazz.. or shld b worse? den got 4 guys n 6 gers sittign wif mi. oni 2 gers tok to mi.. all others just bochap my presence.. wah liewzzz. but i still managed to knw some ppl lah.. cos i knw the purpose of DND is to mingle ard...
umm.. 1 ger beside mi, she is those kiddy n playful type. at first, we chatting n she ask my age. i told her i'm older than she think, n she joked "mayb cos she din wear specs" n i replied jokingly "come on!!" n she luffed away.
den.. afte the first dish was finished, clean plates were left on the table. no 1 moved the plates at all, or touched. den the guys began to take the plate for themslves. hahaa... i was drinking from my glass, n was abt to take 1 plate for myself oso.. n 1 for the ger. den she took herself so i jus din move at all. later on, when the nxt dish came, the waitress had to topup the plates siazz.. so tat she can distribute the food properly. i den felt, "GOOD THIGN I DIN TAKE THE PLATE!!!!". at least it appeared i knw my etiquette n put myself in a good light, even though my dressing is not proper. u knw.. i duno the ppl at the table 1.. i cant sia sway myself anyhow..
den after tis, the ger.. actualyl ... tok to mi in nicer tone? cos.. we got lucky draw.. den i say "i not so lucky to win 1..." n she replied "not yet mah".. change of attitude hor? at first the teasing n joking kind, now is the "think better of u" kind..
"family" gathering
haha.. sounds strange? the "family"? it's my dad's side. they suddenly call us to go for bday celeb. so weird feeling.. felt tat they got agenda... but dunno wat's tat. but i mention it.. cos.. LOL.. i so bad mindset... cos their side got a guy of my rank. he's those skinny type oso. but not bad looking.. jus those cocky face feel.
haha.. bday celeb is bbq. so when i got there, wah.. he's there topless doing bbq.. i nvr see him topless b4.. n long time nvr see guys in such dressing oso.. n took the chance to peep every now n den. of cos not purposely, but when i supposed to be loking around.. den i took the chance to see loh.. skinny dude.. flat frt, slight tummy. fair skin. i keep looking, cos... long time nvr see liao.. n not those bad fig type.. den later ,even better... they show us a pix taken when they went for big splash!! wahhaha.. he's oni in trunks siazz!! n arms are 30deg up. can see, he oso those.. likely hairless type., flat tummy from pic. haha, so funy.. oni the pte is covered up... y not take tat off oso hehheh..
